April 23-25, 2010: Spring Barrel Tasting and Barrel Tasting Dinner

Join us for our Spring Barrel Tasting Dinner the evening of the 24th. Come relax with the partners (Tom, Susan, Mike and Gabrielle) after your day of barrel tasting. This dinner was so much fun last year we decided to do it again. It will once again be a relaxed, plated, sit down dinner in the tasting room. Each course will be paired with one of our wines. We will also be releasing our 2007 Artemesia blend this weekend!  

 

Appetizer: Osso Bucco with a Cabernet Barbeque Sauce

 

Salad: Arugula tossed with Truffle Oil and Red Wine Vinegar topped with Gazpacho and Smoked Gouda

 

Main Course: Grilled Italian Marinated Steak or Grilled Tuscan Chicken with Roasted Red Potatoes and Purple Onion, Grilled Asparagus with Rosemary and Balsamic Reduction

 

Dessert: Triple Chocolate Ganache Cake

October 9-10, 2010: Federwieser Celebration

Our Federweisser und Zweibelkuchen event is where guests can sample our still-fermenting white wine - known as the federweisser. It's a treat because the flavors are extremely bold when the wine is in this stage of fermentation. We serve it along with the traditional German Zweibelkuchen - a delicious onion tart.
