Spring Barrel Tasting - Come celebrate spring while enjoying a fantastic picnic on Saturday prepared by Guerra's Gourmet. We will serve grilled asparagus along with grilled sausages, bread and salad on the Saturday of Barrel Tasting - (April 26). We will be tasting wine straight from the barrel. Wine Yakima Valley event ticket-holders may enjoy a short walking tour through the vineyard
with grape grower and owner, Tom Garrison. Tours will start at 11:30, 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30.

Cherries in bloom - mid May -- Treat yourself to a picnic in the
cherry orchard while surrounded by the beautiful blooms. We
have cheese, crackers and of course wonderful wine on sale in the
tasting room

cherries are ripe for picking and delicious! Have a picnic in the orchard with
cherries fresh from the tree.

Red, White and Blues -
Red, White and Blues at Steppe Cellars is an event the whole family can enjoy! Come celebrate the 4th of July with sweeping views of our country. While you look out over the valley you can cool off with our crisp and refreshing dry Riesling and Gewürztraminer our dry and creamy Semillon or our rich and fruit-forward reds. Have fun and games in the picnic area, or brush up on your dosey-doe in a good old fashioned Square Dance from 3-6 on Saturday. You can even grill your own hot dogs in the picnic area.

Case of the Blues and
All that Jazz
A Case of the Blues and All That Jazz is a blues and
jazz festival benefiting the community through the Yakima Greenway
Foundation and Junior League of Yakima. Held each August since 1993
in Sarg Hubbard Park, the festival features blues and jazz music,
award-winning local wines and microbrews, a delicious array of foods
and desserts, and a silent auction.

Enjoy the excitement of harvest while you watch this part of the
winemaking process. |

Federweisser and
Zwiebelkuchen - A German tradition. We will taste the new still
fermenting white grape juice (the Federweisser) right from the tank
and have the traditional onion cake (the Zwiebelkuchen.) Music,
dancing, onion tart, a barbeque dinner, and the federweisser
will all be included in the ticket price of $20. A limited number of
tickets for this catered event are on sale now. Stop by
the winery, call or e-mail us for tickets. |

Thanksgiving in Wine Country -
The event that has become a Northwest tradition. Yakima Valley
wineries open their doors following Thanksgiving to celebrate the
season.
At Steppe Cellars we will have a special food to pair with samples of our wines. Event ticket
holders will be able to make grapevine wreaths while sampling wine
in our cozy, country setting. |
