Riesling
Inspired by the wines
of Germany's
Mosel Valley this Riesling was made from our own estate ripened
fruit and fermented to dryness. It shows great aromas of honey,
peach and apricot. Rich flavors of ripe apple and peach marry with a
crisp acidity to provide a long lively finish.
This fruit-forward wine will pair nicely with a wide variety of
foods. Try it with a steaming bowl of Puget Sound Claim Chowder, or
simply enjoy a chilled glass and a beautiful sunset.
Gewürztraminer
Our Gewürztraminer
fills your glass with an explosion of honey, melon and tangerine
aromas. Its off-dry balance with a crisp, citrusy acid in the finish
makes it a great match for a variety of foods. Try it with hot spicy
foods and Asian cuisine. Or enjoy it chilled on its own. Late
Harvest Riesling - "Nobel
Rot", Botrytis cinerea has worked its magic on this
Riesling. We hand selected Beerenauslese-only clusters
infected with greater than 50% of this "noble rot" for our
Late Harvest Riesling. Complex and subtle aromas of orange
blossom, honey, and rose petals along with tangerine excite the
nose. Rich and concentrated in the mouth; flavors of honeydew,
melon, and ripe peach lead to a long fruity finish on the
palate. You may sip it on its own or pair it with Creme Brulee
or young blue cheeses and a plate of fresh fruit.
Pinot Noir -We
have sold out of the Pinot Noir
Merlot -
Our 2005 Merlot offers
rich aromas of dark cherry and plum, underlined by hints of nutmeg
with traces of wood and earth. Drink now or cellar.
Syrah -
Hints of toast and
walnut mingle with aromas and flavors of ripe dark cherry and
bramble in or 2005 Syrah. This wine will match nicely with
some lamb shanks, goat cheese, and caramelized onions.
Big Sage Red -
(We have sold out of the Big Sage Red)
With plenty of enticing
bright fruit in the nose and on the palate this Yakima Valley
red-wine blend will be pleasant on its own or pair it with grilled
meat and poultry. Semillon
- Semillon from Eastern
Washington is as distinctive as the native landscape. The
grapes from which this wine was made come from Fair Acre Farms,
Mother Block Vineyard, Prosser, Washington. It is one of the
oldest plantings of Semillon Blanc in the Yakima Valley. Made
in the traditional style, this wine has vibrant aroma of sage, lemon
zest, rose water, and hints of smoke. Elegant and creamy on
the palate, this Semillon displays flavors of melon and almond
through a long oak-spiced finish. Pair it with poultry and
seafood.
